"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela

I’m in love with this song so much, and I only heard it a few minutes ago. Please take a listen!!!

I was looking for something to post on the design section a few moments ago but then I realized that I didn’t post about my new logo yet. As you can already see on the featured design section, the logo is a black in color mainly but there’s a little touch of red and blue. I was inspired by the 3D glasses so I was trying to make it look similar. The font is a bit of a grudgy bloody style, almost like something that has been paint using a paint brush. I love the look of it I think it’s quite nice, but of course the colors will play with your eyes. I almost forgot about the white lines running across. Well, that’s there just to make it look more fancy, instead of just pure black font. But it kind of give the logo a rough feel to it.

Back in July of 2013 Josh and I had this idea of creating a Youtube channel for games, but apparently we didn’t do very well at keeping up with it. We found it hard to create and edit such videos. We manage to get one video done, and that is entitled ‘FTL with Josh’, and you may thought, hmm, there’s already a lot of FTL with…. whoever. We just want to create something that is fun rather than making it a challenging and trying to get it on top. I hope you enjoy our first gaming video that we’ve worked on together. Watch it below and please share to your gaming friends or to any friends that are interested in this kind of stuff.

One of the most powerful storms recorded killed at least 10,000 people in the central Philippines, according to a senior police official.

Huge waves swept away entire coastal villages and devastated the region’s main city.

Super typhoon Haiyan destroyed about 70 to 80pc of structures in its path as it tore through Leyte province on Friday, said police chief superintendent Elmer Soria, before weakening and heading west forVietnam.

But rescue workers warn the toll could be even higher as they struggled to reach ravaged villages along the coast.

“People are walking like zombies looking for food,” said Jenny Chu, a medical student in Leyte. “It’s like a movie.”

Most of the deaths appear to have been caused by surging sea water strewn with debris that many said resembled a tsunami, levelling houses and drowning hundreds of people in one of the worst disasters to hit the typhoon-prone Southeast Asian nation.

The national government and disaster agency have not confirmed the latest estimate of deaths, a sharp increase from initial estimates on Saturday of at least 1,200 killed by a storm whose sustained winds reached 310km with gusts of up to 380kmh.

“We had a meeting last night with the governor and the other officials. The governor said, based on their estimate, 10,000 died,” Soria said. “The devastation is so big.”

About 300 people died in neighbouring Samar province, where Haiyan first hit land on Friday as a category 5 typhoon, with 2,000 missing, said a provincial disaster agency official.

Nearly 480,000 people were displaced and 4.5 million “affected” by the typhoon in 36 provinces, the national disaster agency said, as relief agencies called for food, water, medicines and tarpaulins for the homeless.

International aid agencies said relief efforts in the Philippines were stretched thin after a 7.2 magnitude quake in central Bohol province last month and displacement caused by a conflict with Muslim rebels in southern Zamboanga province.

Hey everyone, how are things? I’m very well and happy as usual! My progression with the school and stuff is going pretty well, even though there are times where there is pressure.. and ..I don’t mind. I’ve been studying lately and I hope to do more and continue doing it until the day of my LC. Right now, I’m doing 2 hours every weekdays, except Friday. I will increase the hours as it gets closer to the date. I’m feeling good and fine. I want it to be this way, lol. Anyways, thanks for reading. See ya. x
